A WORLD IN DENIAL
It is inconceivable
that the Arab media, which
disseminates Israeli “atrocities” throughout the world, is blindly accepted by
millions of people who have no knowledge of the true facts. Most news
concerning Israel is biased, invariably falsified, distorted and not even
properly verified by supposedly reputable sources, such as the B.B.C., CNN, REUTERS,
the Guardian, etc.
Currently, the world is concentrating on the war in Gaza, and the accusation
by the Palestinians in Gaza of ethnic cleansing by Israel.
Israel is a Jewish state. Its minorities are Muslim, Christian and Druze Arabs. Their numbers have grown steadily, along with the country’s overall population. The Arabic population in Israel in 1948 was 56,000. Today there are 2,178,000 Arabs living in Israel.
In areas under the control of the Palestinian Authority, everyone is Arab. Christian Arabs are a dwindling minority that
fears for its security. The percentage of Christians has been declining
rapidly, from 12 percent in 1949 to one percent in 2017.
As a result of the 1948 war of Independence, over 850,000 Jews were
severely persecuted and forced to leave their homes in Egypt, Lebanon, Syria,
Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Morocco and several other Arab countries. Many of them in
communities that had existed for thousands of years, and had been a positive
influence on the countries where they lived. Almost 100% ethnic cleansing of
Jews by Arabs.
Hamas has its tentacles entrenched into Gazan society. Palestinian polling from June shows that the majority of Gazans are still satisfied with Hamas and that the level of satisfaction has gradually increased since last year. Most Gazans approve of Hamas’s decision to launch the war on October 7th, and would prefer Hamas rule over the US backed PA. After Hamas blew up the border, a mob of average Gazans then entered Israel to rape, murder and loot. Shortly after the Hamas massacre, videos surfaced of Gazan residents cheering at the sight of wounded or dead Israeli hostages, piled on trucks and motorbikes.
Rockets and mortar shells are kept in children’s rooms in many
homes in Gaza. Most children in Gaza are not like children elsewhere. Some are
specially trained by Hamas and fitted out with guns and, in some cases, even
suicide belts. Intelligence received from the scenes of the October 7 attack,
and from Gaza, included schoolbooks that deny the legitimacy of Israel, promote
violence against its Jewish citizens, and feature games and puzzles that teach
anti-Semitism to young Gazans.
Hamas’s Gaza tunnel network is between 350 and 450 miles long. An
astounding figure given that the enclave is only some 140 square miles in total
size.
Schools, hospitals, mosques, serve as terror headquarters - with
stores of weapons, rocket launchers, and military structures. Terrorists in Gaza have repeatedly used UNRWA facilities as bases for their operations. A
Hamas data centre was discovered hidden underneath UNRWA’s Gaza headquarters. With a population of 2 million, Gaza has 36 hospitals. There are Arab countries with a population of 30 million which don’t have so
many.
UNWRA in Gaza was created solely for Palestinians, employs almost exclusively Palestinians, and has been co-opted by an extreme version of Palestinian nationalists. The UNWRA model perpetuates the conflict by passing entitlement from generation to generation. Breaking UNWRA’s monopoly on services in the Gaza Strip is critical.
